My Story

The first

milestone

Riding a motorcycle through the desert was my childhood dream. I had no idea what it truly meant, but I wasn’t afraid of anything out there. Finally, I had everything I needed to set off for Morocco for the first time. A few weeks later, in the summer of 2008, I was leaving the last small village, heading toward the Sahara sand. A local boy warned me that I would die if I continued in that direction. I simply smiled and opened the throttle.

Six weeks and tons of sand later, I was 100% satisfied with how the trip turned out. Looking back today, I realize I was lucky not to have known too much about where I was going or what I was facing. Sometimes it’s better to just start your project and not worry too much about the good, the bad, or the outcome. Life itself is an adventure. Focus on your destination, get the basics prepared, and trust your journey.

about me

It’s not the position you stand, but the direction in which you look.

Backpacking through India, Nepal, Tibet, and China for about four months was my first opportunity to see the world outside Europe. It was a genuine budget trip, occasionally challenging, but always an enriching experience as I got very close to the local people wherever I went. If it wasn’t already, my curiosity and urge to see the world with my own eyes were awakened. I couldn’t keep track of the amazing experiences I had, but if I had to name one in particular, it would definitely be seeing the Himalayas for the first time, towering into the clouds right in front of me.

Driving with a Motorcycle through the desert, that was my childhood dream. I had no idea what this meant, but wasn’t afraid of anything out there either. In fact I do remember quite well the day I was leaving the last small village, heading towards the Sahara sand in summer 2008. A small local boy warned me that I was going to die if I would drive out there in this direction. Well, I gave him a smile and opened the throttle.
Six weeks and tons of sand later, I was 100% happy with how the trip turned out. Looking back today, I realize I was fortunate not to have known too much about where I was going or what I was facing. Sometimes it’s better to just get your project started and not worry too much about the good or the bad, or the outcome at all. Life is an adventure in itself. Focus on your destination, get the basics prepared, and trust in your way.

Based on the experiences I gained in Morocco, I assembled a bike and gathered equipment for my first long-distance trip, setting out once again, this time for Thailand. The journey to Thailand spanned approximately 5 months, taking me through several amazing countries. I traversed from the lowest seaside, the Dead Sea, through the black, white, and sandy deserts, to the world’s highest mountain pass at 5600 meters in the Himalayas. The temperature ranged from 48 degrees plus in Saudi Arabia to minus 15 degrees at the top of a mountain. The trip was a kaleidoscope of colors and contrasts, leaving indelible impressions that will stay with me forever.

Time had passed, and I hadn’t embarked on a proper adventure with my own vehicle for a long time. I was feeling like a mess and completely out of shape. It was time for a radical change for the better. I spontaneously decided to treat myself to a cycling adventure. A few months later, I found myself pushing up to the roof of the world. The journey wasn’t easy, but it was beautiful, and I learned a lot about myself while grinding on all edges.

Cycling in Kenya was a mental challenge, perhaps the most challenging thing I have ever done so far. It wasn’t just physically demanding from the perspective of an athlete, but also due to everything I had the chance to experience and feel. Pedaling through vast landscapes, crossing mountains, navigating jungles, and riding alongside rivers, I ended up traversing through the bush and the wilderness with all its wonders and wild animals that I was fortunate enough to encounter. As if I hadn’t been grateful enough not to have been consumed, I was privileged to witness the rarest cat in the world as a highlight – the beautiful and uniquely rare Black Leopard.

A big dream of mine is to travel along the Andes in South America, riding on top of the mountains with the ocean just beside it. The stunning nature, mind-blowing mountain roads, new picturesque views behind every little turn, far-reaching vistas, and the open sky with brilliantly bright stars – the sky seems endless.

Moreover, I am eager to explore beautiful places and encounter warmly friendly people along the way. South America is known for its diverse cultures and hospitable communities, and I am excited about the prospect of connecting with both the breathtaking landscapes and the welcoming locals during this adventure.
