Wasn’t motorcycling always a way for me to see and experience as much of the world as possible in the most open and straightforward way? Riding faster and faster in circles on a track seems to contradict that, doesn’t it?
„I may be deliberately slow, yet I find myself drawn to riding a fast bike.“

Well, the story of how I ended up on a racetrack is closely tied to my good old friend Michi, who is still my only motorcycle buddy here in my hometown. We’ve always had the idea of maybe taking a tour together. Unfortunately, due to various circumstances, that has never happened, but instead, he became quite active in track riding. For me, that world always seemed so far away until one day he invited me to join him and gave me the great honor of riding his first motorcycle.
From the outside, a racetrack can be incredibly intimidating, if not downright terrifying when you see the bikes zooming past at brutal speeds. But once you’re on the bike yourself, everything suddenly feels almost like slow motion, and you can enjoy it like nothing else. It’s an incredible feeling and an unbelievable amount of fun that I never want to miss out on again. Plus, on the track, you can truly work on yourself, your bike, and your riding technique to the point of perfection. And in the end, that’s what it’s all about—speed through perfection and control.
A thousand thanks go out to Michi for giving me the opportunity and for always taking me along to the Pannonia Ring and the incredible KÜS team.
